By spending years developing these close relationships we have access to the very best. And fear not—oysters are one of the few exceptions to the “wild is better” seafood rule. Unlike other seafood, farmed oysters are the finest-tasting, healthiest, and most environmentally-sustainable option. They are farmed in their location of origin so every variety will have the specific taste the geography is known for.

Our Story

Christopher Tompkins, founder and owner of Broad Street Oyster Company was born in New York and developed a love for the ocean and seafood at a very young age. After having lived in Boston, Sydney, and Brooklyn he decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue his passion project, Broad Street Oyster Company. Inspired by his travels and memories of shucking oysters alongside his father after unsuccessful deep sea fishing trips, Christopher established Broad Street Oyster Co. as a catering and pop-up concept that strives to bring together family, friends, crustaceans and banter into a truly memorable dining experience. Whether it be an intimate dinner party or an up-scale wedding, book Broad Street Oyster Co. to delight any event.
